Cost of Education in Bangladesh
Education costs are cheap in Bangladesh. It'll cost you around $50-$100 per semester (6 months) in public universities and medical colleges. In terms of private universities, the cost varies from $650-$1000 per semester (4 months/6 months) in Bangladesh. So not in exact but it will take nearly around $200-$3000 yearly depending on type of institution to study in Bangladesh which is really cheaper than the most other institutions around the world.
Private medical colleges in Bangladesh are a little bit costlier from universities. But the cost of studying MBBS is so much lower than other countries in Bangladesh and students can pay their full tuition fees in 5-6 instalments in 5 years. For international students, it will cost around US $ 39500 – 48000 for completing your MBBS degree from Bangladesh including hostel & food depending on variety of private medical colleges and their rankings. For local students it can cost from 15 lac BDT to 28 lac BDT. The personal expense depends on you! And you cannot imagine how lower it can get.
Cost of living in Bangladesh

Your food and housekeeping expenses are estimated to be around (US$150-225). This is based on about (US$5-7.50) for three meals per day. Naturally, if you cook and share the cooking expenses with your friends, it would be cheaper.
It's possible to have a fast-food meal below (US$2.50) in Bangladesh. For example, you can get a meal at McDonald's for the US $5-10. You can also get meal sets at KFC and pizza deals for group meals below the US $5-10 per pax.
Local food like rice and noodles at food stalls or coffee shops range from (US$0.5-2.50). At mid-range restaurants, you can expect to pay for a meal (US$2.5-5).
Clothing and laundry
Your laundry expenses like washing and using the dryer at a self-service laundromat cost around US$ 1 each time. Clothing expenses vary according to your taste and how often you indulge in new clothes.
Public transport
Students who stay on campus or near campus may not incur any traveling to and from classes. However, other traveling may cost approximately (US$ 10-20) per month.
Telecommunication / Mobile phone bills and Utilities
The mobile phone packages in Bangladesh are very competitive. How much you spend will depend on your usage and the promotional package you choose. The average student may spend about (US$ 3.50-10.50) per month.
Books, reading materials, and stationery
The estimated cost of books and stationery should be around (US$12.50-25) per semester, but it would largely depend on the course you have signed up for and the number and nature of projects in your system.
Personal expenses
Your monthly personal expenses mostly depend on your lifestyle. However, the cost can be estimated between (US$25) and (US$50).
This includes your socializing needs, toiletries, haircut, clothes, movies, etc.
